What do you think? Too much of a mouthful? Too many royal names?!

She would probably be called Eliza, but DH wants Elizabeth on the birth certificate

Actual perfection.

Absolutely lovely

BonnieBlue88 · 02/03/2022 22:21

A mouthful.
I think one of the names needs to be shorter, or maybe end with a vowel or something.

Firebird83 · 02/03/2022 23:43

Lovely, this was actually our second choice for DD.

Violetandpurple · 04/03/2022 09:36

Personally Eliza Beatrice sounds much nicer to me.
Biased though as I have an Eliza and adore her name.
Elizabeth Beatrice is lovely but if you're going to call her Eliza (which is a beautiful name) I'd put Eliza on the bc.
Congrats 🌸

It's nice and since hardly anyone ever uses a person's first and middle name together it doesn't matter how much of a mouthful they might be.

Rosieposie101 · 04/03/2022 15:12

Beatrice Elizabeth is much better!

Or Eliza Beatrice also lovely

Elizabeth Beatrice doesn't sound quite right

dreamersdown · 11/03/2022 23:02

Ah, my name is Elizabeth and my daughter is Beatrice! I’ve always loved being an Elizabeth and they definitely feel like names that are in the same “family”.

SerendipitySunshine · 11/03/2022 23:04

Lovely names. Classic but underused.

Snowbell99 · 11/03/2022 23:06

Yes, it's too royal family. It was my first thought. I would guess that people will expect you to be a fan.

Elizabeth Beatrix instead maybe?

Elizabeth is a bit dull. Beatrice and Beatrix are okay. I dislike Eliza as a nickname. Eliza is a well established full name, if you want to call her Eliza just use that.

Eliza Beatrice is much less royal family.

soulinablackberrypie · 11/03/2022 23:10

I like it!

People who say Beatrice Elizabeth sounds better - I like that too, but I think Elizabeth as a middle name is/was a bit of a cliché (it is mine too, and loads of people of my age) and it's refreshing to see it as a first name. Also if you want to use Eliza it makes sense for Elizabeth to be the first name!
