I find Zelda a really unpleasant sound. Too harsh for my taste. ZelDUH. I do love Rose however.

I love the name Zelda but understand it's strongly connected with a video game (I sound like a total granny 'the youth of today tell me...'). I'd have to investigate how strong that pop culture link would be.

I would just think if the video game. I think it’s one of those names that is really over strongly linked to one thing so wouldn’t use it for that reason.

Bored of Rose as a middle name, it’s just a filler name for girls currently along with Grace/May.

Not a fan of Zelda and it reminds me of Terrahawks still. Showing my age.

I like Zelda! It fits in with the early 20thc revival names, and Zelda is going to grow into a punchy and fascinating woman. It make me think of Zelda Fitzgerald and the Jazz age.

It does go nicely with Rose but it’s a pity to reduce the impact with such an overused middle name, so I’d find something else if you can - Zelda Violet, Zelda Margot, Zelda Frances, Zelda Constance..

Rose is a filler middler name - every other little girl is something Rose.

Zelda is a lovely Jewish name, I know the sweetest lady named Zelda. She's about 90 and is full of great stories and jokes.

Rose is boring for a middle name.

I like it! My husband likes it because of the game, but i think of Sabrina the Teenage Witch (i loved Aunt Zelda!).

It's a nice unusual name without being too out there. Rose is a common middle name, but I think it pairs beautifully together.

At the end of the day, it'd be so boring if we all liked and disliked the same names; choose something that feels right to you and you can't go wrong xx
