Hi, expecting twin girls!

Already have one name which will be Blue but struggling to pick another….
My ideas so far are:

blue + raine
blue + tate
blue + luna
blue + cassia
blue + star
blue + astrid

all help needed!

Personally I wouldn't choose any but that's me, sorry... I would want a prettier name.

Out of interest why Blue though?

Cas112 · 18/02/2022 16:55

Blue & Raine

Easterbunnyiswindowshopping · 18/02/2022 16:55

I know a Sky Blue.
Dsis is Star Rain.
Don't give one and Out There name and the other one not so.

BrutusMcDogface · 18/02/2022 16:57

I quite like Blue and Star!

StopForAMinute · 18/02/2022 16:58

I think Tate goes quite well with Blue.

SummaLuvin · 18/02/2022 16:58

I would chose Raine or Astrid out of your options.

As a side note, except for Star which is also very out there, the other options seem far more conventional than Blue, they are somewhat familiar and what most people (in the UK) would consider 'normal' names even if they aren't in high use.

Twizbe · 18/02/2022 17:03

I'm sorry I don't like blue as a name.

I like Astrid and Luna though. They go nicely together.

arlarae1 · 18/02/2022 17:16

Hey,
Blue is a name i have personally loved for years! It’s probably more trendy and deemed normal over here as i live in LA😂

Astrid & Cassia

NuffSaidSam · 18/02/2022 17:21

Blue and Red
Blue and Lilac
Blue and Bingo
Blue and no. 2 (for the second baby out)
Blue and Teal
Blue and Mauve
Blue and Barney Mcgrew
Blue and Doris

Hmbleybee · 18/02/2022 17:22

Blue is not a name. It's a primary colour.

idiotmagnet · 18/02/2022 17:31

Mist
Raine
Brooke
Indigo (Indi)
Briar
Luna
Breeze
Aria
Charm
Soleil
Meadow
Lucia

AdaColeman · 18/02/2022 17:33

Why not have another colour?
Jade
Blanche
Rose
Ruby
Saffron
Emerald
Sienna
Scarlett
Indigo
to name a few. All of them are fab paired with Blue.

Mumofgirls2017 · 18/02/2022 20:03

I think Tate and Star go best.

BlueFlavour · 18/02/2022 20:23

I like Blue and Star.
I also like Sailor Smile

Happenchance · 18/02/2022 20:37

I'd choose something that isn't a thing, so that they have their own identity rather than being known as blue star or blue rain. That leaves Tate and Astrid.

Astrid is OK, but combined with Blue it makes me think of a blue-ass fly.

Toodleloodle · 19/02/2022 13:02

I'd reconsider Blue. I like Cassia and Luna. You might also like -

Seren
Lyra
Phoebe
Serena
Celeste
Violet
Sienna
Sylvia
Isla
Skye

Most people on here will be cringing at Blue but I had a feeling you lived in California or at least the states with those name choices, and I was right! For the record though I liked those names anyway and I’m in the UK where generally people are more traditional (yawn)

I like Blue and Tate I think.

Elspethelf · 19/02/2022 15:32

From your list I think Astrid is my favorite. I also like Birdie, Juniper/Juno, Marigold and Lyra - these may suit your style :)

Rosieposie101 · 19/02/2022 15:34

I'd choose Astrid and Cassia. SO cool and great together. Blue is a bit Z list celeb baby name, whereas Astrid and Cassia are both cool AND classy

itsgettingweird · 19/02/2022 16:01

I agree with others re Blue. It's a little too wannabe celebrity - like Apple!

But the other names you've chosen are nice and different.

Astrid, Luna, Raine and Cassia being my favourites.

I also like Skye and Brooke

Howeverdoyouneedme · 19/02/2022 16:04

Astrid and Cassia.
Blue just makes me think of feeling blue or something even worse…

Zodlebud · 19/02/2022 16:10

I also like Astrid and Cassia as a combination.

But if you are set on Blue then what about Noa? Yes, pronounced like Noah.

Astrid + Cassia

Blue + Noa

blameitonthecaffeine · 19/02/2022 16:33

I used to know a girl called Blue. British family in the UK. I rather like it. But yes, fits much more into Californian culture I'm sure.

I like Astrid best from your list but think I would go with Star or Raine as better matches for Blue.

Blue and Star or Blue and Raine sound like brilliantly cool, hippy surfer chick types. I love it.
