So me and my partner don't yet know what we are having. We will definitely be finding out when the time is right, and our first born has a traditional name of Charlie. I think I'd like to keep to traditional 'old' names but nothing is standing out at all.
I think I like the name Billy for a boy and Polly for a girl but if you know of any not overused traditional names throw them my way!

James/Jim. I’m of the same persuasion and that’s my DCs name. There are a lot of Jamies and Joshs but we’ve never come across another Jim.

For boys any of of the 12 disciples or the four evangelists, deeply bog standard names 50 years ago, are pretty rare nowadays. I’ve got two primary school age boys and don’t know if I’ve ever heard of a kid at their school or nearby schools called, for instance, John, or Paul.

Girls: Victoria, Anastasia, Christina

Boys: Elliott, Otis

Billy & Polly are not classy names to me! They don't sound classic as well... Not sure if they are overused or not though.

Is Charlie particularly traditional? I think bother Billy and Polly are lovely. Could also go with Freddie or Archie for a boy and Molly or Alice for a girl.
