Not sure how we will agree on a name!

Super early days in my pregnancy, but DH and I have talked a little bit and we really cannot agree on literally anything. We have two kids already. Girl has a short, reasonably common but not current top 100 name. Boy has a short name that was unusual ish when we had him but has rocketed and is now in the top 50.

Does anyone have any ideas for both sexes (we will find out but not for a while).

Most of those have been vetoed by DH already 🙄. I am a bit more willing to go unusual, he likes very classic names.

To give you an idea, he likes Mary and Lucy for girls, I like things like Saskia, Willow, Thea, Orla, Juliet, Josephine…

The only two girls names we both like are Matilda and Charlotte, but neither feel like ‘the one’. We also both quite like Evie, but it feels very popular.

Boys names are going to be much harder. The only one we both like is Freddie, but again, doesn’t feel like the one.

My DH and I had problems agreeing on names, so we used an app called Kinder. It’s like Tinder, but for baby names 🤣 You both download and link yourselves together, and then separately swipe on names you like. You can both see any you match on. Really saved us endless veto lists as we now just have ones we know we both like to make a shortlist from.
