Esmé is a masculine ending, with the single e acute.

Esmée you s the feminine version.

Esme doesn't really exist as a name, unless possibly short for Esmeralda?

Esme very much exists as a name as its current popularity will attest. You may think it's a bastardisation but that's a different matter.

Esme is fine, as an anglicised name. It’s an old spelling. Esmé is completely wrong. Esmée would be OK.
