Middle Name Wyatt. Surname Miller.

Cooper
Bailey
Joel
Luca
Blake
Joseph

I know Bailey is a dog's name 🙈 and possibly Cooper. Joel I love but there is a character in a game called Joel Miller and a TV series based on it is out in July. Obviously I don't know how much they would use the characters full name.

Cooper awful
Bailey awful
Joel great
Luca lovely name but doesn't go with your middle and surname
Blake quite nice
Joseph love

Isaisa · 31/01/2022 11:10

Love Joseph. I think it sounds the nicest too

Happenchance · 31/01/2022 11:19

I love Joel. Copper and Bailey are both occupational names, so personally I wouldn't use them with your surname because it's also an occupational name.

Caspianberg · 31/01/2022 11:23

Joel or Joseph, both go with Surname the best, otherwise the others all sound like potential surnames and confusing with Miller as that’s also first/ surname territory

Joel
Joseph
Jonah ( kind of like Luca)

emmathedilemma · 31/01/2022 11:25

Joseph is the best of your list. Joel is a few too many l's with Miller for me.
What about Brodie rather than Bailey?

Mumofgirls2017 · 31/01/2022 11:26

Joseph by a mile. Joel and Luca are ok. Wouldn’t worry about the tv programme. The other names are fine, but not to my taste as worried they’d date badly. Other suggestions

Joshua
Jacob
Jude
Jesse
Zachary
Lewis
Louis

I don't mind Cooper and Bailey in general but in combination with Wyatt and Miller it just sounds like three surnames together, like a firm of solicitors!

Joel and Joseph probably work with those other names best. I like Luca but the run on from Luca into Wyatt isn't that pleasing. Blake is the name I like least from your list just because it's got that cheesy US feel to it, like Blake Carrington or a teen romance hunk like Chad or Brick.

So it's a nice list overall but quite easy to whittle down to what works. Think overall I'd go for Joseph and then you've got Joe as an option to call him by anyway.

Ceramide · 31/01/2022 11:43

I wouldn't go for Cooper, Bailey or Blake, as with the middle and last names you'd have three surnames in a row. I like Joel and Joseph.

Happenchance · 31/01/2022 11:46

I think you need quite a hard sounding first name to balance the softness of Miller.

Some suggestions (ignoring Wyatt because his full name won't be said as much):
Cedric Miller
Frank Miller
Patrick Miller
Morgan Miller
Jovian Miller
Sebastian Miller
Logan Miller

Cooper - dislike
Bailey - dated and now a dog's name
Joel - ok but people will say Joe-elle or Jole
Luca - faddy. Lucas is much nicer
Blake - ok
Joseph - will be Joe

I'd probably choose Blake

babyjellyfish · 31/01/2022 13:37

@Comedycook

Cooper awful Bailey awful Joel great Luca lovely name but doesn't go with your middle and surname Blake quite nice Joseph love
Agree with this.
KirstenBlest · 31/01/2022 13:50

Cooper Wyatt Miller sounds like a company name

Luredbyapomegranate · 31/01/2022 23:01

Joseph
Or Joel, but Joseph makes for a better rhythm

The rest would make him sound like a firm of solicitors, apart from Luca, which is nice enough but doesn’t go.

Happenchance · 01/02/2022 09:44

I agree that Luca doesn't go well with your surname. It merges with it and becomes "Loo Camila?", a question that I'm sure Prince Charles asks frequently.

Ernest "Ernie" Miller has a nice ring to it, as does Luke Miller.

coronabeer · 01/02/2022 09:49

I know two brothers called Toby and Joel.

Toby Miller?

Agree that the surname-y names makes your son's potential name sound like a firm of solicitors. Or maybe Estate agents.

KedgeIsland · 01/02/2022 09:54

@KirstenBlest

Cooper Wyatt Miller sounds like a company name
Yes, it sounds like a firm of solicitors.

Joseph or Joel get my vote of what you’ve suggested. Is the Wyatt middle name fixed?

PatterPaws · 01/02/2022 09:55

Cooper - not nice
Bailey - just no
Joel - yes
Luca - no
Blake - please no
Joseph - yes
