Can’t decide which name goes with big sister Isabella (Issy), options are:

Flora
Clementine

Not keen on either but Clemmie if I had to pick one.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 30/01/2022 16:54

Flora.
Issy and Flo

ConstanceL · 30/01/2022 17:03

Clementine for sure, Flora just makes me think of the margarine 🧈

Haus1234 · 30/01/2022 17:09

Both are lovely!

Justkeeppedaling · 30/01/2022 17:10

Enko · 30/01/2022 17:21

I love Flora so much

Mumofgirls2017 · 30/01/2022 17:27

They’re both amazing I can’t decide! Maybe Clementine as it’s long like Isabella?

WhoppingBigBackside · 30/01/2022 17:33

Flora's lovely. Not keen on Clementine.

TempsPerdu · 30/01/2022 17:45

Flora much nicer imo.

DotDotDotDotDot · 30/01/2022 17:52

Flora has the margarine/spreads easily association, which is a shame as it’s actually a nice name. I definitely prefer Clementine, lovely meaning too.
Florence would be nice with Isabella, Issy & Flo.

Dreamingof3 · 30/01/2022 17:55

Clementine 🍊

Peachandpearl · 30/01/2022 17:57

Clementine
I don't like the name Flora because it's a yellow coloured fake butter product to me

user1493494961 · 30/01/2022 17:58

Both are lovely, I think I would choose Clementine.

SummaLuvin · 30/01/2022 17:58

Is there a chance the baby could be a red-head? When I was young I knew a girl called Clementine and found it strange as she had orange hair.

LivingOnTheVeg · 30/01/2022 18:09

I really don’t like Flora, and Clementine isn’t my cup of tea but is best out of the two with the nn Clemmie. I second Florence though. Gorgeous without being twee.

Illyria17 · 30/01/2022 21:59

Thanks for your thoughts everyone! Flora margarine not such a big thing here so that’s not an issue.
@SummaLuvin this is a good point!!

Flora... easily spreadable.... sorry but the advert ruined Flora
Clementine is ok, but it's a bit wehhh

Luredbyapomegranate · 31/01/2022 23:05

Flora
Isabella and Flora is a splendidly Scottish combo. Ignore the spreads/margarine comments about Flora, it’s a perfectly usual name and getting more popular.
Clementine is also nice, just doesn’t go so well - maybe Clementina sounds better

flashpaper · 31/01/2022 23:27

I have an 11yo Flora (so I'm biased obviously!) Suits her down to the ground and we've never had any of the horrible comments that you hear on here about it.

Illyria17 · 31/01/2022 23:41

That’s lovely to hear! I think we are going with Flora.. Now for the middle name 😆
