If you are UK you might get people helpfully changing Benyamin to Benjamin for him.

But saying that I prefer Benyamin as I've never met one and it's a handsome name. Nothing wrong with Yusuf either of course!

Benyamin is lovely. I much prefer it to Yusuf. Not that there's anything wrong with Yusuf, just like PPs said, it's much more common.

My son has lots of friends of Arab/Muslim heritage friends living in the UK and they seem to like names they can adapt to fit cultural/social situations, so Benyamin is beautiful in its own right but also has Ben/Benny for teenage nicknames.

Great choice if you go for it!

Depends where you are. My part of SW London lots of Binyamin/Benyamin but not many Yusufs about now - mainly men rather than little boys.

I prefer Benyamin, but both are nice names.
