So I had the name picked for baby girl but I’m having a boy 😭. I wanted to use the name Meadow but is that definitely more girly than a boys name ?

I’d assume female for Meadow. What about River, August, Robin, or Joaquin?

Many moons ago I had my DD, I'd never asked what sex she was, but in my head she was a boy. I'd only thought of a boy's name.
If she was a he, he'd have been called Kyran.

UserBot989 · 08/01/2022 01:10

What about Dale?

Kanaloa · 08/01/2022 01:13

I don’t like it for a boy or a girl. I wouldn’t want to be called Meadow myself. But yes I would presume it was either a girl or a cat.

Meadow is definitely female. What about Morgan? Or Rowan?

Ceramide · 08/01/2022 05:56

Linden
Oakley
Ashley
Moreton
Marley

Meadow does read like a girl to me.

If you like the nature aspect of it, what about something like River or Heath?

DotDotDotDotDot · 08/01/2022 08:20

Cassius, Forrest, Wilder, Caspar, Elwood, Emrys

Fivemoreminutes1 · 08/01/2022 08:38

How about Maddox?

Looking at England and Wales, Meadow is moderately popular for baby girls (over a hundred born last year) but never been registered for boys. There's a YouTuber called SJ Strum and I'm sure she'll have lists of nature names for boys if that's the style you're into.

Meadow feels very feminine for some reason. It sounds floral, I guess. You wouldn't call a boy "Daisy" or "Orchid".
Somerley?
Eathan?
Matthew?
Math?
"Mathghamhain" means "bearcub". It's often spelt Mahon.

Meadow definitely sounds like a girls name.

How about Marlow?
