What do you think of the name Alanna Marie King

I love the name Alanna, which way do you prefer it spelt. Alanna or Alana? Marie is the surname, I love Marie because it is my sisters name and it sounds elegant and when it's read on paper. Does the name flow well?

I prefer the double 'n'

I like Alanna with that spelling! It is the name of a character in the Wheel of Time series - you might already know this but even if you've not read the books, first season on Prime has been huge so may be some associations if further seasons go the same way.

How are you pronouncing it? I would go for Alanna if you're pronouncing it as Al-Anna and Alana if you're pronouncing it Al-arna. I prefer the latter.

My immediate thought was that she would be Ala King, as in chicken à la King.
