Baby boy is going to be called Kane, but I can't find a middle name that goes with it. Any ideas?

Sebastian jumped into my mind. I think something with 3-4 syllables would suit.

AwkwardPaws27 · 25/12/2021 19:05

I agree with the suggestion of a longer middle name... maybe something starting with a vowel?
Alexander & Elijah spring to mind.

I suppose a family surname?

Although then he might sound like he has three surnames? So a traditional two or three syllable name?

Kane Jacob?
Kane Benjamin?
Kane Michael?

Kane is very modern looking (in that it's a phonetic spelling of Biblical Cain) - so I'd probably go traditional and timeless for a middle name (plus likely more than 1 syllable and perhaps not Biblical for extra contrast):

Kane William
Kane Henry
Kane Edward
Kane Alexander

Kane Sebastian sounds great IMO.

Kane Emmanuel
Kane Augustus
Kane Demetrius
Kane Harrison

I do think it’s better spelt Cain..

Alexander would work well.

Something a bit classic so he can change it.

Why would he need to change it?
toastofthetown · 27/12/2021 21:43

I agree with the general consensus that a longer name works better. I think names where the stress isn't on the first syllable sound best.
