Double L, too much?

I made a recent post about picking boys names, trying to put some on our list together

Is Liam Levi too much?

I really like both names but I'm not sure how they sound together, they might be too similar.

Thoughts?

Too much imo.
I find it a real mouthful.
They don't 'go' either.

Two L's together are fine imo, but Levi isn't a great name. Liam is lovely though.

How often will anyone hear his first name and middle name together? I think it works.

I wanted Lydia Luisa for my daughter but everyone was horrified at the LL. however she decided at 18 months her name is Lydie Lou

While the names themselves aren't my personal taste, I don't think the double "lee" sound really matters - middle names are rarely said aloud and when they are it's usually with your surname not just Liam Levi. If Liam itself sounds good with your surname, that's what's important.

Fine unless your surname is Cool.

I prefer how it sounds the other way round (Levi Liam)

I think it sounds absolutely fine. If you like those names then go for it! People are rarely called by their full name anyway and I doubt most people would even think about it.

Of course it's ok. Always go with names you love and middle names are hardly ever used anyway.

Neither are nice names to me... Levi is an anagram of Evil and Liam is a naughty boy name...

or if it is a doubled up first name

If it is just a middle name then it doesn't matter as they won't ever be said out loud after his Christening (if you have one) without the surname. They don't need to 'go'.

Definitely too similar - not just the Ls but the lee sound.

Not tok much at all, both names actually flow really nice together I think
