Names like Matilda

Hi!
My partner and I are having a hard time coming up with a name for our baby girl that we both agree on. I’m not due until May so still have loads of time but i want to have a name decided.
At the minute her name is Matilda. I love it but my partner just thinks it’s ok.
Other names we like are Alice and Darcie.

Can anyone think of any other names along the same lines as these. I like ‘normal’ and old fashioned names as opposed to modern names.
Her middle name will be Elizabeth so something that goes with that 😊

We almost called our DD Matilda. The other two names on our list were Jemima and Felicity.

Matilda is a very old name that goes back centuries. So is Alice, in various different versions.
Darcie is modern; current popularity is from the (excellent dancer) balerina.

All the names suggested by cherry blossom have a similar vive to Matilda. Mirands is actually more modern - from Shakespeare, over 400 years ago.
Names that age with Matilda although rarely used today = Maud (another version of Matilda), Rosamund, Richenda, Marjorie. I like them all. There's also Mariota, Jehane ...
