A middle name for Beatrice

We are pretty sure that we like the name Beatrice for our baby due early next year, I would also like a middle name for her, but I’m struggling to pick one. Her surname will begin with D, so I think that rules out a few names when thinking about what the initials may spell out or stand for.
I’d be really grateful to hear your ideas!

We used family names for our son. Baby #2, if a girl, would either be Beatrice or Florence. It’s such a gorgeous name. We tend to dip into our family tree to find middle names.

My son’s is Wolstan (a family name) and daughter’s would be Dixie (again a family name ). We loved it as she was one of the first publicised feminist in the U.K.

So maybe something linked to your family or something that fits with your families values I.e. A feminist, strong woman you admire.

We have decided against middle names beginning with A or E to avoid BAD or BED initials.
My son’s names are family names, from both sides of the family, but we’ve struggled to find a female family name that we think works.
Luckily we have a little while yet to decide!

A shorter name is probably easier to fit on travel forms and landing cards.

I would definitely avoid an A name & possible an E. I like a more traditional name with Beatrice:
