Hi everyone. I’m having a hard time selecting a name for my second baby girl. I think Braelynn (bray-lin) is my top name, but I also really like Braylee and Brynn. DD1 is Madison if that helps. What are your opinions on these names?

Braelynn and Brae will be shortened to Brae/Bray - the noise a donkey makes

I agree. I think you won’t be able to stop people shortening, and “bray” is horrible with its donkey noise connotations

Brynn is okay but I wouldn't use it for a girl.
If you want a b name how about Briar, Bethan, Blake, Bailey, Blythe, Bronwyn or Bonnie.

This is what I automatically thought of when I saw them!

Though not wanting to be unkind, and aware of the PP saying ‘trailer trash, my first thought with Braelynn was a scene in a Ted film where they list white trash names.

Bryony, Brooke, Bailey all have that sort of U.S vibe without the same connotations IMO.

I love all of them but I would probably choose Brynn or Braelynn. Braylee is a bit childish.
