Baby boy arrived today - no name, help!

DS 2 arrived this afternoon by EMCS at 34 weeks. He's doing really well but we have no name for him and I'd really like him to have one ASAP - it just feels a bit disjointed that he doesn't.

I've included a photo for you - any suggestion welcome! Siblings are Poppy and Reuben. Surname is 2 syllables, beginning with a B Smile

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I think Storm or Barra should be in his name, maybe Barra as a middle name, most children love having a story with their name.

Congrats on your baby! But are you honestly asking random people on the forum to name your baby? You can’t be for real?:)

I’m still amazed how people think a baby looks like a particular name :) it makes zero sense whatsoever. A baby will look like ANY name you give him/her! All newborns look the same (and format that!) and they will be fine with whatever name parents chose. Congrats OP on your gorgeous boy, please pick a name yourself, it doesn’t make sense to be asking random people of internet to name your baby:)

I came on to say Oscar or Isaac but I see you've already said you can't use those. He looks like a George to me though having seen the photo. He's beautiful, congratulations to you Thanks

queenie2405 · 08/12/2021 12:10

Congratulations! How about Caleb or Colby? :)

Zandathepanda · 08/12/2021 12:17

Gorgeous little boy. All I would say is not a T name as the initials would be TB.

Just came on here to say a huge congratulations and please don’t feel rushed. Take all the time in the world you need. Bring him home for a few days, get to know his little personality. A name will come naturally. Just announce ‘our precious baby boy has arrived’ then sit back in your bubble and see what suits him.

@elisemum they are obviously asking for people's suggestions to see if a name is suggested that they love. It's what the ba y name threads are here for!
