What has your toddler / young child tried to change their name to?

Almost 3 year old DD recently often decides she wants to be called Betsy. Her friend often says her name's is now Elsa. So this for me thinking what names have your little people decided they would like to be called?

My son-Alfie
Wanted to be known as Annabelle from about 3 til 8/9
Just woke up one day and wanted to be Alfie again
We just went with what he wanted to be fair

My friend's son only answered to Scoop until he was about 4.

When eldest was 3 another child of the same name started at her nursery. Don't think it had occurred to her that other people might share the same name. Anyway she was very upset and insisted that everyone called her Feebar for a couple of weeks. No idea where she got it from

DS2 gave his name as Ash at a school creche. They wrote it down on the register, however it is not his name!

He also once gave himself the middle name Batman in a similar scenario

One of mine went through a phase of only answering to Cardinal Rochefort (from the cartoon Dogtanian). It was embarrassing to shout at the playpark.

Kim is also a boy's name.

Back in 1974 ds aged 5 wanted to be called Neil or Stuart or….Z Car Man!

He also insisted on wearing my hairbands and nail varnish 🙈🙈 so I've definitely wanted to be a female kim

Her own name with Cat stuck on the end. But only when she’s tired.

Some days she only answers if we call her chicken nugget 'surname' 🤷

When my cousin was younger she would only answer to the name of Nigel haha

My DD used to call herself Elsie-Nancy.
I used to call myself music Centre funnily enough it never caught on, though😂😂😂😂
