Tabitha - really like Tabitha
Jemima - not a huge fan of Jemima. It’s quite a racially charged name in the USA if you are planning to spend significant time there
Sophia - overused and dull
Orla - like it, pretty and simple
Belle - another boring one
Marina - beautiful. My favourite girls name
Savanna - it’s fine, but doesn’t thrill. The most common spelling is with an H at the end
Carmella - very frilly. I prefer Camilla
Jasmine - it’s nice, peaked in popularity about 20 years ago
Heidi - not a name I like but it’s ok
Clementine - I like Clementine, but there are two pronunciations (-teen and -tyne) which might be a bit of a pain

Love Jemima

17caterpillars1mouse · 26/11/2021 09:48

Tabitha - I want to like it but I just can't get over the catty feel. I love the very similar Talitha NN Tallie though

Jemima - not a fan, it seems uptight to me
Sophia - lovely but very popular
Orla - I like it but prefer Orlaith as Orla can autocorrect to oral
Belle - nice as a NN
Marina - I like it
Savanna - not a fan. I've never met a nice one
Carmella - pretty
Jasmine - love it
Heidi - pretty
Clementine - lovely but I'm not sure I'd want to be called it

BigMamaFratelli · 26/11/2021 09:56

I like :
Tabitha
Heidi
Orla

ZimZamZoom · 26/11/2021 10:05

Heidi and Marina get my vote.

KirstenBlest · 26/11/2021 10:47

Tabitha - too kittenish
Jemima - like
Sophia - nice but they're everywhere
Orla - dull
Belle - no, doorbell, jingle bell, church bell
Marina - 1970s car
Savanna - no
Carmella - Carmel is ok but Carmella sound like an angel-delight type pudding
Jasmine - ok
Heidi - ok
Clementine - satsuma

Jemima, Jasmine or Carmel

TempsPerdu · 26/11/2021 10:47

I like Tabitha and Marina.

Scirocco · 26/11/2021 10:55

I think Jasmine and Marina are my favourites.
They're all nice in their own ways, I think you've got a nice shortlist.

MintLampShade · 26/11/2021 11:07

Out of your chosen names, this would be my shortlist, in this particular order:

Heidi
Savanna
Tabitha
Orla

SeaWitchly · 26/11/2021 12:15

Sophie

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 26/11/2021 12:32

For me it would be Tabitha or Marina - both very pretty, both underused. I find Tabitha more "quirky" sounding (especially the "Tabby/Tibby" nicknames), and Marina more elegant, being classical, royal and Shakespearean (but with cute contemporary nn options in Marnie/May/Mia etc) - so that would probably be my top pick.

But I don't dislike any of your choices apart from Savannah, Heidi and Belle which just aren't my taste. I really love Sophia as well but it is just so popular now (especially if you include Sophie/Sofia, it must be top 5) that it puts me off.

BubbleCoffee · 26/11/2021 13:44

My top 5 would be

Sophia
Jasmine
Marina
Clementine
Carmella

finallychangedmyusername · 26/11/2021 13:44

Tabitha, Jemima and Marina are gorgeous and I'd pair any of them with Heidi as a middle name.

Tabitha Heidi
Jemima Heidi
Marina Heidi

CustardCreamm · 26/11/2021 13:53

Sophia is my favourite girl name Grin

Barton10 · 26/11/2021 13:54

Clementine it is a gorgeous name

LittleMysSister · 26/11/2021 14:02

I like Tabitha and Jasmine best from your list :) Also love Orla but would worry about jokes in secondary school (oral), but depends where you are as obviously it's a very popular Irish name.

Cas112 · 26/11/2021 14:34

Savannah is beautiful

Lovethewinter · 26/11/2021 17:02

I like Tabitha, Marina and Heidi the best. Good choices generally though!

LozMarieFielder · 28/11/2021 13:11

If I were to narrow it down:
Sophia
Orla
Marina
Savanna
Heidi
Clementine

Clementine being my favourite, followed by Marina.

TheBeautifulSouth44 · 28/11/2021 19:33

Orla or Jemima
