Codie for a girl?

I’ve been thinking of girl names and I’ve fallen in love with Codie. My close friend however said it was mainly for boys. Opinions?

Not a fan of Cody for a boy but really hate it for a girl

First thought it reminded me of Covid.

I don't like it. It reminds me of codeine.

Cody for a boy seems ok - but not liking it for a girl at all.

There are so many lovely girls names, Cody isn’t one of them.

We loved Cody in Neighbours! Kadie is better.
