They're all lovely. My favourite from your girls list is Daisy and from the boys Jude.

ofwarren · 18/11/2021 22:12

All decent names
My favourites are Juliet and Max.

outofservice · 18/11/2021 22:13

Love them all but would avoid Freya, hugely popular here!

2020HelenJ · 18/11/2021 22:28

They are all nice. Robyn and Rowan are perhaps the only ones I am less keen on.

Iamanicepersonreally · 18/11/2021 22:35

I like Rosie, Jude and Max
Really dislike Robyn and Rowan

toastofthetown · 18/11/2021 22:50

Robyn - dislike the Robyn spelling and prefer Robin for a boy
Rosie - bland but inoffensive
Juliet - lovely
Freya - dull, insipid and overused
Daisy - bit twee, bland and very popular

Boys names:
Rowan - I like it, but it’s so popular now, as is the quickly rising Roman which would put me off
Jude - it’s fine if not very exciting
Finn - it's ok, kind of bland by it's popularity. I think it will date a bit
Max - so popular and just not appealing at all to me

Shasha17 · 18/11/2021 23:01

Daisy and Juliet

Max and Finn

Luredbyapomegranate · 19/11/2021 00:17

I love Robin, but spelt like that,
Juliet is nice
Freya less around now and nice
Rosie - way too many variations on this around. Twee as a full name.
Daisy - bit wet.

Max - can’t go wrong
Jude - I like it, underused classic
Rowan - great but zillions of Rowans, plus all the Romans, Ronans, Reubens…
Finn - ok, been v popular a long time, but blah

DramaAlpaca · 19/11/2021 00:21

Love Juliet, Finn and Jude. Also love Rosie as a diminutive of any of the Rose/Ros- names, but it's a bit twee as a standalone name.

Not fond of Freya, and Daisy is pretty but twee.

Don't like Robyn or Rowan.

Max is OK.

BloodyAlarms · 19/11/2021 00:52

Like them all except Robyn. I have a have a real dislike of the name !

DoucheCanoe · 19/11/2021 01:05

I like Robyn, Rowan and Max/Maxi as unisex names.

Floralnomad · 19/11/2021 01:16

They are all perfectly pleasant except Rosie , the best are Juliet and Jude .

imnotacelebritygetmeoutofhere · 19/11/2021 01:25

I love Robyn (prefer Robin), I also love Freya. I love Rowan either for boy or girl.

BasiliskStare · 19/11/2021 01:32

Juliet and Max of your list

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 19/11/2021 01:40

Elegant, underused Juliet is gorgeous and I like classic Max too. Your other choices feel a bit trendy/"now" in comparison so aren't really my taste (although I must admit I do love the sound of Rowan, despite it's rise in popularity).

Elspethelf · 19/11/2021 01:54

My favorite is Rowan for a boy or girl

miltonj · 19/11/2021 02:45

Freya and Jude.

I seem to meet a lot of little Freya's though, so if that bothers you I'd avoid it.

Kanaloa · 19/11/2021 02:53

All nice names! My favourites are Max & Juliet, both lovely and not too many Maxs and Juliets around.

I don’t love Rowan & Rosie so much but they’re not awful.

Peachbubble · 19/11/2021 06:23

I like Daisy and Finn

PingedPotato · 19/11/2021 06:59

I only like Juliet of your girls names. The others are too "now" for my liking. Same with Max, hate the rest of the boys names.

HuntingoftheSnark · 19/11/2021 07:21

I love Freya and only know one, who is 23. I also like Max and Jude.

fairywings55 · 19/11/2021 07:50

Do we think Robyn is 'trendy'? I've never met one...

OP posts:
Bin85 · 19/11/2021 08:41

All good except Jude

toastofthetown · 19/11/2021 08:59

@fairywings55

Do we think Robyn is 'trendy'? I've never met one...
This is the best website if ‘trendiness’ is a concern as it plots out popularity over time. I actually see Robyn as a bit of an 80s name, but it started rising in popularity again. I don’t think it’s trendy. It’s popular, in the top hundred, though given your other names I don’t think popularity is a concern of yours. It does fit into a wider nature name trend which is happening at the moment, but I would expect the Robin spelling to fit more into that. names.darkgreener.com/#robyn
ILoveShula · 19/11/2021 09:46

Girls names:
Robyn - ok, not one I'd pick
Rosie - very popular
Juliet - nice but people will say it as Julie-ETTE.
Freya - been overused so a bit boring
Daisy - slightly too twee

Boys names:
Rowan - nice but lots of R names and Roman is popular
Jude - dislike
Finn - lots of Finns and Finleys, not keen
Max - fine
