I know how much some of you like 'yoonique' names on here. I was watching Hells Kitchen on Prime and there was a man named Dewberry.

Any takers? Grin

Are you sure he was Dewberry and not Dubarry?

GlitterBiscuits · 17/11/2021 17:27

Wasn't that an old Body Shop fragrance?

Snowpatrolling · 17/11/2021 17:37

He was in fact dewberry! And freaking awesome!! So funny!!!

MirandaBlu · 17/11/2021 18:08

If it is "Dewberry", it's a legitimate botanical name - although not one I've previously noticed being widely/traditionally used for human babies.

Just makes me think of the 80s Body Shop scent. That and White Musk were the teenage female equivalents of Lynx.

DuckWithOneWing · 17/11/2021 18:16

It was actually his surname. Many Hell's Kitchen contestants are called by other names because it could be confusing otherwise. He was actually Jeffrey and there was already a Jeff

WhatHoMarjorie · 17/11/2021 20:39

Was he American? In which case I presume it was pronounced DOO-BERRY

I've noticed that Americans really pronounce the berry in straw/rasp/berry rather than the straw'bree pronunciation on this side of the world.

*DuckWithOneWing( I checked and you're right, it is his last name. Since some people seem to use last names on here, don't let that put you off Grin
