A brother for Milo

My second little boy was born 2 days ago and we are stuck for a name. Our first is called Milo so I don’t want another name beginning with M or ending with O.

I really like Brodie and have got a bit stuck on it. DP likes it but isn’t sure. He has suggested Zach or Otis and I can’t get on board with either. He has just suggested Noah which I loved for our first but he vetoed very quickly. Now I’m not as keen.

Why is this so hard?! Please help!

Lots of good suggestions here. DP might be warming up to Rafferty but his arguments against are that it’s a surname (that doesn’t bother me) and that it’s a bit posh, which we are not, so it would sound a bit try hard.

DP likes Luca as well, I’d forgotten that. He’s unsure about Brodie because he thinks people will think it’s very American and a bit out there. I make the connection with the Scottish surname and my dad was Scottish. I’m guessing the majority of people will think American?

I think Rafferty and Luca are great and go well
What about Angus or Ethan

Lucas sounds better with Milo than Luca, in my opinion. Or Lewis is nice, too.

What about David?

I thought of Milo and Nate (Nathaniel? Nathan?).

I think Milo and Otis works. Milo and Luca work as they're both Italian.

I agree that Brodie is very American as a first name.
