Initials?

We’ve chosen a name for our DS but the initials spell out OCD. Is this an issue?

Probably not too big a deal, both of mine have mildly silly initials that don’t cause an issue.

The middle name is likely to get dropped by school etc though so yours would then be OD, might be something to think about but I’d say still not a massive issue.

I don't think it really matters but I wouldn't have his initials embroidered on a blanket to be honest.
Do agree with @DowntonCrabby but if you're not set in stone maybe swap the first and second name to avoid both these potential problems...

I wouldn’t really get anything with his initials on. So far with DD we haven’t done that. We have considered switching the names but I don’t love the middle name as much as the first name

Any teasing at all tends to be of body functions or insult type initials for kids imo (B.O, B.U.M, C.O.W, R.A.T etc). While O.C.D and O.D might not be the best, I really doubt they would get commented on.

Could you add another middle name?
I suffer from OCD so particularly would want to avoid that, but as others say it's not the worst ever combination.
