I think this shows that you just need to choose a name you love. My DC have names (including Valentine) which MN has over the years declared to be "posh", "horsey" and "ridiculous", but I love them all, and wouldn't change them for any amount of MN vindication.

If you want his name to stand out in a sea of Noahs and Henrys, go for Nigel, Simon, Glenn, Richard…

A few years ago 1/3 of my Cub pack were Thomas. Now they’re mostly Noah and Zak. There comes a point where popularity seems to defeat the purpose of a name to identify someone.

My ds name regularly comes up on here as "boring dad name". In real life everyone smiles and says nice things. If you love the name just go for it!

But if you want suggestions: John, Matthew, Simon, Nicholas. All lovely and not too many about.
