Ava or Raya?

Ava is horrible and Raya seems a bit trendy.

Roya is nice

Ava is lovley but very popular so we're avoiding for that reason.

I've worked in an all girls secondary for the last 5 years and only come across one, although of course that doesn't preclude it getting more popular.

Raya is like ray a sunshine or ray a hope, and the feminine version of a not-nice male name.

Roya is a persian name meaning vision. A friend's daughter has this name.

Ava - yet another of the Evie, Eva, Ava, Ivy names

Raya - disney name and too similar to Maya etc

Raya is nice and so is Ava so I’m unsure, as for why care if it’s popular well because I don’t want my child to be one of 5 Avas in her class, Roya is horrible 😬
