Down to the final two and cannot decide!

Options are Toby or Lowen. Surname begins with a T.

Any thoughts to help us decide?

Thanks!

Lowen for me, it's lovely abs I'm not a huge fan of alliteration in names.

Snugglemuffins4me · 19/10/2021 21:11

I prefer the name Toby although Lowen has a lovely meaning .

Lowen!

Toby for me (although I personally much prefer Tobias) - I think alliteration can be nice, and makes a name more memorable.

Lowen has a lovely sound, but somehow has a slightly feminine vibe to me - I think it's because I've heard more of Elowen and Lowenna but not so much Lowen (I don't live in Cornwall/have Cornish heritage though, perhaps if I did I might feel differently).

Toby

Lowen sounds very feminine to me, and also might be misheard as the popular Rowan

Figgyboa · 20/10/2021 02:26

Lowen

Aquamarine1029 · 20/10/2021 03:10

Lowen.

Toby

Lowen. I don't like TT as initials- makes the crying emoji.

CoalCraft · 23/10/2021 17:26

I much prefer Toby.

DramaAlpaca · 23/10/2021 17:38

Lowen

2 very different and lovely names. Why not just hold on to both and see which one baby suits when arrives?
