Cameron or Albert?
Middle names will likely be Douglas and David

You can’t have Cameron David, obvious reasons
Cameron Douglas works nicely
Congratulations btw

Luckytattie · 17/10/2021 15:47

It would be Cameron Douglas David then our last name which is short.
The middle names will always be Douglas David in that order :)
Thank you!

Cameron

RockaLock · 17/10/2021 15:54

I wouldn't chose Albert, just because when you start getting post for Master A Luckytattie, you won't know whether it's for Arthur or Albert.

Luckytattie · 17/10/2021 16:06

I'm going to keep an eye on the post I get because I'm sure everything I get is in my first and last name in full...but it is a good point.
So if the post thing wasn't an issue would you choose Albert?

I think Albert is very cute and from same kind of time as Arthur. Arthur and Cameron seem like two different eras?!

Cameron....Albert is a bit matchy with Arthur

BeKindBeYou · 17/10/2021 16:11

I’d go for Albert :)

Blubells · 17/10/2021 18:47

Cameron definitely

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 18/10/2021 22:01

Cameron is a very different style to me than Arthur, so of the two I'd definitely have to pick Albert (despite the annoying "same initials for the post" thing, and that I much prefer similar Alfred personally).

If it helps, I'd probably expect Arthur's brother to be something like Henry, Frederick, Alfred, Louis, Robert, Edward/Edmund, William, John, Charles, George, James, Phillip etc - classic "kingly" names like Arthur.

Ritasueandbobtoo9 · 18/10/2021 22:05

Galahad, Geraint, Lancelot, Kay, Gareth?

Luckytattie · 18/10/2021 22:28

@IamnotwhouthinkIam yes I definitely know what you mean.
I quite like George and that could actually be after my grandad who is not very well right now. But he also is known in the family for being a bit difficult and stuff so I'm not sure how it would go down.

@Ritasueandbobtoo9 my husband would veto all of those! But thank you
