It's a lovely name, his sister has wonderful taste

moonshine3600 · 12/10/2021 19:43

Good taste from his big sister.
Lovely name op

RunningFromInsanity · 12/10/2021 19:45

It’s fine, all the names go together.

Ughmaybenot · 12/10/2021 19:45

Personally I think I’d spell it Zachary but it’s a nice name, and it’s a lovely touch that his sister had that input.
My older brother wanted to name me after himself, so my mum chose the feminine version of his name for my middle name and I’ve always loved that little connection/story 😊

I prefer the spelling Zachary but it's a lovely name!

YumLemonCheesecake · 12/10/2021 20:10

Lovely way to choose a name but I'd use the Zachary spelling.

PurplePizzaCake · 12/10/2021 20:26

Agree with Zachary spelling

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 12/10/2021 20:28

Fabulous name- strong, normal yet not overly used or twee !

Classica · 12/10/2021 20:28

I also prefer Zachary, it looks calmer than Zackary. If that makes any sense!

Beccawynn · 12/10/2021 20:30

I don’t like Zack with a H Zach! So only way to get around it was zackary with a k xx

Agree it's a lovely name.
I don't like the spelling of Zackary though. It looks wrong.

EdgeOfACoin · 12/10/2021 20:41

Love Zachary! Zackary looks like a spelling mistake

DoucheCanoe · 13/10/2021 00:28

Zachary/Zac/Zack is pretty popular around here.

It's a nice name but definitely not keen on the CK spelling! In my mind it changes the sound of the short "c" to a harsh "k" even though it doesn't actually make a difference Hmm

KirstenBlest · 13/10/2021 09:28

The Zackary spelling will be a pita, bacause the name is normally spelt Zachary, and is quite popular.

You can shorten Zachary to Zac, Zack, Zak, Zach and they're all ok.

I don't think siblings should choose the name of the baby, but Zac is nice enough.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 13/10/2021 15:24

I'd second pp's saying to spell it Zachary - even if you still use the "Zack" spelling for his nickname (others have done this). With Zachary being in the top 100, I think "Zackary" could get fed up of spelling his name to people. But Zachary Noah Stephen Surname is nice imo btw - the Stephen stops it from feeling overly Biblical to me.
