We just can decide on a name for our DD…Which would you choose out of Lottie, Grace and Ava?

DS is Jack Smile

Grace

amallierory · 04/10/2021 19:08

Lottie!

redfernstation · 04/10/2021 19:09

Ava. beautiful!

I hate the name grace

BeKindBeYou · 04/10/2021 19:10

Lottie!

WashableVelvet · 04/10/2021 19:12

Grace. More unusual at the moment, and really lovely.
Ava there might be ‘Ava S’ and ‘Ava P’ in her class right through school which I think is a slight shame.
Lottie is fine though I prefer it as a short form for Carlotta, Colette etc

WeDidntMeanToGoToSea · 04/10/2021 19:12

Lottie, but I would give her Charlotte on the birth cert.

MadeOfStarStuff · 04/10/2021 19:13

Lottie but short for Charlotte

UniformSchmooniform · 04/10/2021 19:15

Given baby name trends they're all names that a LOT of other people will have chosen so your DD will be one of many with the same name. Ava is the nicest I think.

Marlena1 · 04/10/2021 19:25

I love Ava. Not sure why I didn't have on my list!

DramaAlpaca · 04/10/2021 19:35

Ava.

I don't like Grace and Lottie is a diminutive of Charlotte.

CloseYourEyesAndSee · 04/10/2021 19:36

None of them. All so overused.

redfernstation · 04/10/2021 19:38

@MadeOfStarStuff

Lottie but short for Charlotte
Why does that matter? its fine in its own right
CloseYourEyesAndSee · 04/10/2021 19:39

Lottie isn't a name for an adult woman. It's a cutesy nickname.

MuMmaOf3littles · 04/10/2021 19:40

For me it would be Grace (my daughters name) or Ava

redfernstation · 04/10/2021 19:45

CloseYourEyesAndSee · 04/10/2021 19:47

Yes me I am the name police

Mol1628 · 04/10/2021 19:47

Grace or Ava. But they are very common now. I prefer Ada which you don’t hear as much.

itsgettingwierd · 04/10/2021 19:48

Charlotte (Lottie)
Grace or Gracie
Ava.

All nice names.

You could have Ava Grace or Charlotte Grace.

I also like Charlotte Alice

MsSquiz · 04/10/2021 19:55

I have a Charlotte Grace, but unless you would use Charlotte on the birth certificate, I would go with Grace. Lottie is a nice nickname but Charlotte has more shortenings she might like as she grows up.

I'm not keen on Ava

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 04/10/2021 19:56

Lottie.

DukeofEarlGrey · 04/10/2021 19:58

All three are nice but I like Grace the best and think it goes nicely with Jack.

TheWonderCat · 04/10/2021 19:59

Lottie because Ava and Grace are just sooooo common.

EishetChayil · 04/10/2021 19:59

They all scream "the 2020s" and will date badly. Give her a name that her whole class won't have!

DoodleBelle · 04/10/2021 20:01

Grace
