Read a book set in the 1920s or so with heroine named Harriet, pronounced Hiyot. This proved that she and her mother were the Right Sort.

Peridot? Or do you not pronounce the t? I've never known how to say it correctly!

Classic Juliet is my fave, although I've always had a soft spot for French Lisette too. There's also pretty Josette, although that's often used more as a diminutive of Josephine. Love Linnet and Sonnet if you are brave (might make nice middle names?).
