Fraser

Rowan is nice but there are so many R names popular at the moment
I like Max but not Maxwell

RuthW · 29/09/2021 12:17

Maxwell is the nicest.

Williamshatnershorses · 29/09/2021 12:19

Fraser.

HonorHiding · 29/09/2021 12:33

Fraser

emmathedilemma · 29/09/2021 12:57

Fraser
Maxwell Hall sounds like a stately home

helpforayounggirl · 29/09/2021 12:58

Rowan!

Happenchance · 29/09/2021 13:27

Fraser

Maxwell William Hall is very L heavy.

TatianaBis · 29/09/2021 14:21

Fraser William Hall or Fraser Max Hall.

Maxwell sounds 80s Essex.

ducksalive · 29/09/2021 15:37

Fraser.

TuftyMarmoset · 29/09/2021 16:05

Not Maxwell Hall, that sounds too much like a National Trust place. Fraser Hall - NT for Scotland Grin My vote goes to Rowan.

notsogreatnowboris · 29/09/2021 17:04

Rowan.

bear in mind once they are at school and beyond no-one ever hears the middle name, so just think about the first name + surname.

sarah13xx · 29/09/2021 19:10

Rowan or Fraser, both are lovely. Think Rowan has the edge though

SirChenjins · 29/09/2021 19:15

Fraser - hands down. I know Rowan is unisex but I always think it sounds v feminine. Maxwell Hall does sound like a stately home as a pp said.

chocolatecheesecake · 29/09/2021 19:15

Rowan!

WeasilyPleased · 29/09/2021 22:45

Fraser. Very nice.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 29/09/2021 22:54

Rowan... lovely name... I have a 24 year old one!

Blueberry40 · 29/09/2021 22:56

Definitely Rowan

bloominglovelyorange · 29/09/2021 23:01

I love the name Fraser and love that it's familiar but underused
My baby girl is called Rowan so I obviously like the name for a girl too but don't like the seemingly inevitable shortening to Row.
I also don't like than Roman with an M is the fastest rising boy name and it can get confusing now Roman is so trendy
Both Roman and Rowan shooting up official top 100 and may date
Rowan Hall is the name of an actress by the way

Max William Hall (or Maximilian might be even nicer since you have a 1 syllable surname). While I like the name Fraser, with Hall any "surname as given name" (Fraser, Maxwell, Morris) risks your sons name sounding a bit like a building imo - Max(imilian) Hall or William Hall helps avoid that.

If you hate just Max or Maximilian or William as a first name then Rowan would be my second choice - still a bit building like (as a lot of buildings have nature names) but still sounds better than the surnames imo.
