All just make me think felatio

BubbleCoffee · 28/09/2021 16:41

Felicity is a beautiful classic name.

Felicia makes me think of the 'Bye Felicia' meme. I haven't heard of Felicie but it sounds unfinished to me.

Itsanewdah · 28/09/2021 16:42

Felicie sounds too much like felony for me. The others are fine (not my taste, but no negative assoications)

yikesanotherbooboo · 28/09/2021 16:44

I love Felicity
I'm not such a fan of Felicia due to pronunciation worries and fellatio
I haven't heard Felicie as a name but have the same concerns as with Felicia .

ToadstoolBubbleMaker · 28/09/2021 16:44

What's the first one, Felicie? Fell - ee - see? I've never seen or heard that before.

The other two are nice but Felicity is the nicest

GloomAndDoom · 28/09/2021 16:44

Felicity

ErrolTheDragon · 28/09/2021 16:45

Felicity.

emmathedilemma · 28/09/2021 16:48

Felicity

ILoveShula · 28/09/2021 16:49

Felicie looks like it might be french for fallacy or fellatio

TheSpiral · 28/09/2021 16:52

Felicity is a pretty name with a lovely meaning
Felicia makes me think of an evil cat - I wasn't sure why so I Googled and apparently that is the cat in the Great Mouse Detective which I saw when I was 12, so obviously name associations can hang around!
Felicie is too hard to say for me.

millzcrawf · 28/09/2021 17:13

I got the name Felicie of the movie Ballerina/Leap it's french I think and it's pronounced as 'Fel-ee-see' xx

I know a Felicity. Nickname Fliss. She's amazing!

chesirecat99 · 28/09/2021 17:28

If you want the French name Félicie, you need to have the e acute so people stand a chance of pronouncing it correctly. It's pronounced more like Fay-lee-see, not Fel, like the other too. I don't think many people will have heard it before or know how to pronounce it.

Felicia pronounced Fe-liss-iya is pretty but Fe-leesh-a isn't so nice IMO. I think she might always be explaining how to pronounce it too.

Felicity is classic but then you have the nickname Flea (Flea-city)...

DelphiniumBlue · 28/09/2021 17:31

You could try Felice.

Sarcobaleno · 28/09/2021 17:37

Felicity.

Felicia is Bye Felicia and not fair on the child.

bigginswiggins · 28/09/2021 18:02

Felicity is nice. A happy name.

Though it comes with annoying nicknames, Flick, Fizz, Flea, etc. See if you can find a nickname you could live with (or else the schoolfriends will pick one for you).

being very magnanimous as I went to school with a really mean one

Moby715 · 28/09/2021 18:48

Felicity

elQuintoConyo · 29/09/2021 13:35

Felicia pronounces fe-leesh-a.
Only if your surname isn't Jollygoodfellow Grin

RuthW · 29/09/2021 20:52

Felicity

KeflavikAirport · 29/09/2021 21:12

Not Félicie, it has unfortunate associations in French.

WaterTheGrass · 29/09/2021 21:15

Felicity is by far the nicest of these.

DramaAlpaca · 29/09/2021 21:23

I like Felicity but not the other two.

peaceinourtime · 30/09/2021 10:36

Felicity all the way. Not Felicia, it would just become bye Felicia.

NannyR · 30/09/2021 10:43

I always hear Felicia as Fe-lee-sha in a really strong Australian accent, as in "priscilla, Queen of the desert"!
Felicity is a lovely name, well known but not that commonly used and fliss is a nice nickname.
