Will everyone just think of the clothing brand? Does that make it unusable?
I like 'Bo' and 'Bodhi' as nn.

It's fine

tunnocksreturns2019 · 27/09/2021 22:04

No it isn’t!

PrincessPaws · 27/09/2021 22:06

Sorry OP it's pretty bad. Either a clothing brand or a line of travel mugs/kitchen stuff is what comes to mind

daisypond · 27/09/2021 22:07

Not good. Neither are Bo and Bodhi.

Lanique · 27/09/2021 22:07

Ha ha.
Behave, op.

Magicstars · 27/09/2021 22:07

I immediately think of the clothing... most people will IMHO.

PineappleWilson · 27/09/2021 22:08

I'd think clothing brand tbh. I prefer Brodie or Bohdi.

PineappleWilson · 27/09/2021 22:08

Bodhi even

DebbieHarrysCheekbones · 27/09/2021 22:09

What others have said or some extra from the GoT prequel

Marmaladeagain · 27/09/2021 22:09

Bo, bit too similar to BO - body odour?

Surely Beau is better?

ISeeTheLight · 27/09/2021 22:09

Please don't.

StevieNix · 27/09/2021 22:10

No it’s terrible

Suitcaseseverywhere · 27/09/2021 22:11

Oh no. Clothing.

Bodhi is lovely.

DressedUpAtAnIvy · 27/09/2021 22:12

Did you first think of the brand? Then probably most people you know will too.
If you live in Brighton, for example, Bodhi would be fine.

BrutusMcDogface · 27/09/2021 22:13

Haha, nope! Don’t do it!

MaverickDanger · 27/09/2021 22:19

There’s a rugby player called Beauden. I probably wouldn’t associate that spelling with the clothing brand.

ODFOx · 27/09/2021 22:19

Bo, Beau, Bodie could work. Boden, alas, not. For either sex.

gemloving · 27/09/2021 22:20

It means floor in German, so a no from me.

grapewine · 27/09/2021 22:21

You're not serious. Just go with Bohdi.

StrongSunglasses · 27/09/2021 22:22

Bodhi to me would be a no because it’s unusual enough to not automatically know how to pronounce, and written down could be potentially read like “Body”

BakeOffRewatch · 27/09/2021 22:27

Bohden is a common Romanian name. I know one baby, and a few I met at work and uni,, no one makes comments or anything. Depends where you live I guess and how multicultural it is or Boden-dressed it is. Would avoid it in the Cotswolds and SW London. In a lot of parts people have never heard of the brand Boden! MN is probably the wrong place to ask as Boden and MN audience overlap.

I think it’s a lovely name by the way.

BakeOffRewatch · 27/09/2021 22:28

ppan4454 · 27/09/2021 22:28

No I think of the clothing brand, sorry

Poetrypatty · 27/09/2021 22:29

Good if your surname is catalogue

DramaAlpaca · 27/09/2021 22:32

No, it's not good.

Someone on here recently described Bodhi as 'a man bun of a name' Grin Grin Grin
