New post- Cassian?

My last post was asking about Cassiel or Cassius, but I now really like Cassian too. Cassiel puts a little feel of feminine in my mind and Cassius doesn't flow well with last name according to a lot of people.

So what about Cassian (cas-see-in)

Last name Dejesus (day-hay-zoos), Cassian Dejesus

Help me out with middle names?

I like Cassian Theodore, does it go well with last name though?

Good middle names that go with first and last name please??

I prefer Cassian to both other names. Cassian is great.

Theodore works as a middle name too.

DotDotDotDotDot · 27/09/2021 18:28

I think Cassian is the best option with your surname. Theodore is lovely in the middle. Maybe Samuel, Joshua, Rafael or Nathaniel as other suggestions? Good luck.

Underthestairsbears · 27/09/2021 18:33

Nice. It's easier to pronounce than Cassius.

Or you could consider Caspian?

Ichangemynameagain · 27/09/2021 18:35

Is it not off Star Wars?

wishing3 · 27/09/2021 18:37

Ooh, I like Cassian!

Well if it is, I didn't know. So that doesn't matter to me.

Okay we agreed on Cassian Brian, Brian after my dad 😊

I think Cassian is nice than the other suggestions there. However, Caspian is miles better.

SirSamuelVimes · 27/09/2021 18:44

Cassian sounds good but I would think you were a star wars fan. Not necessarily a bad thing!

Philandbill · 27/09/2021 18:47

Cassian is great. Wasn't the guardian angel in City of Angels called Cassian?

Changethetoner · 27/09/2021 18:50

I know a little boy called this, but spelled Kasjan. Family is from Eastern Europe.

TuftyMarmoset · 27/09/2021 19:12

Cassian and Brian are too similar

ofwarren · 27/09/2021 19:34

Cassian is nice but I don't think Brian goes as both names end in Ian.

Balonzette · 27/09/2021 23:44

YES! Cassian is fantastic. Who cares if there's someone called Cassian on Star Wars? I'd never put two and two together and assume Cassian = Star Wars fan. Cassian is a strong, Latin name. There's even a few Saint Cassians. It's one of my favourite names. Definitely pronounced Cass-ee-un, not Cash-un. I've only ever heard it pronounced the first way.

Gosh this name is so bad, and made up. Sorry, but you asked for opinions so I’m giving mine:) it doesn’t matter what I think though, if you like it go for it

That's okay, you are the only person that has said it's a bad name, I can live with that haha 😊

As a fan of Sarah J Maas (who has no idea about Star Wars!), I love it!Grin

TatianaBis · 29/09/2021 19:59

Cassian Rafael

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 30/09/2021 16:24

Cassian is lovely. I slightly prefer Caspian (literary/nature links and looks further from the girls name Cassia), but Cassian has a nice sound too.

Not made up, there's a Roman saint Cassian with a youth retreat centre named after him in Berkshire.

Zinfandelli · 01/10/2021 10:13

Another one here who immediately thought of the Sarah J Maas book series Grin
