Boys Names

Absolutely stuck. Have quite a lot of names I like but cannot find ‘the one’.

I generally like softer boys names, and nothing too traditional. We have settled on Jasmine for a girl and there are no other strong contenders. I really want to feel as strongly about a boys choice.

You have to at least say what kind of names you like/don’t like… otherwise the choice is endless…

@Elisemum Ok so initially I didn’t because it changes a lot BUT here are my current likes:

Hugo - but it’s dwindling.
Hudson
Wilfred
Jonas
Atlas
Bruno - negative opinions have put me off but I do really like it.

As I said none are sticking though so open to ideas :)

Some people tend to think of "softer" sounding boys names as romantic/poetic ones eg. Heath, Tristan, Orlando, Emrys, Gabriel.

Or perhaps consider the unisex route if you are struggling - Rowan, Eden, River, Robin, Jamie.

@IamnotwhouthinkIam yes have considered Quinn for a boy but DH is worried it’s used more for girls

@Blubells a few people have mentioned the film by the same name and that’s made me doubt it. Which is so annoying because it’s pretty perfect aside from that.

I like your Hugo and Hudson, a friend of mine has Hayden - I kind of like that too. I myself have a Jamie so I obviously love this name ;) I also like Finn, Flynn, Matthew, Ryan and Josh
