Lovely name it means beautiful Grace congratulations 🌺

Freya2456 · 20/09/2021 09:19

I like Annabelle! Would go against having three middle names though… that’s so much to have to write out on any legal papers for the rest of her life! And annabelle is long enough as it is

Freya2456 · 20/09/2021 09:19

Sorry I mean two middle names :)

Blubells · 20/09/2021 09:30

I much prefer the Annabel spelling!

The -elle ending looks frilly and focuses the emphasis on the last syllable.

Congratulations!

BubbleCoffee · 20/09/2021 10:26

Lovely name.

toastofthetown · 20/09/2021 10:35

It’s nice. Not the most exciting name, but it’s solid. I prefer the Annabel spelling as it looks cleaner to me, though Annabelle is more popular.

I disagree with previous poster about two middle names. I like two middle names and Annabelle Jessica Dawn sounds nice to me. Certainly not too long.

catchyjem · 20/09/2021 10:37

Lovely names! Congratulations

NowEvenBetter · 20/09/2021 10:40

Jessica is nicer

NowEvenBetter · 20/09/2021 10:43

Or Anna itself.

WaitinginVain · 20/09/2021 10:57

I really like it and much prefer the Annabelle spelling - it's really pretty.

It sounds nice with Jessica Dawn - don't think it's too long at all.

SickAndTiredAgain · 20/09/2021 11:07

I like it, and prefer the Annabelle spelling as well

Aorh · 21/09/2021 17:32

Gorgeous name. Definitely Annabel though.

WineIsMyCarb · 21/09/2021 17:35

I have an Annabelle. We call her Annie as she is fairly rough and tumble so it suits her. We felt it met the baby Vs boardroom test - a name you can call a child but will set her up well if she becomes an accountant (light bloody hearted, before an accountant called Trixifleur pops her head up!)

Congrats on your new arrival!

DramaAlpaca · 21/09/2021 20:13

I don't like the Annabelle spelling, it's very fussy.

I love Annabel, though.

GingerFox2021 · 22/09/2021 01:42

Don’t worry, our baby was without a name for 40 days after birth, so all midwives called her ‘“baby” 😃 Didn’t want to rush into giving a name we were not sure about. So decided Annabelle at the end. However, it was hard to choose between Annabelle/Annabel/Anabel- I personally liked Anabel, but all 3 look nice anyway. We are calling her in full name and I personally don’t like any short versions, as I don’t want a beautiful name to be lost within a nickname.

LadyCarolineDester · 22/09/2021 05:42

I prefer Annabel spelling. It’s a nice name.

daisypond · 22/09/2021 07:29

Annabel, spelled that way, is much classier than Annabelle.

alwayscrashinginthesamecar1 · 22/09/2021 07:48

No. Haven't you seen The Conjuring?

Blubells · 22/09/2021 12:29

Annabel is much classier!

Annabelle looks unnecessarily frilly. It's also pronounced differently, with the emphasis on the last syllable AnnaBELLE.

thewhatsit · 22/09/2021 12:37

I think it’s a nice name but much prefer Annabel too. Annabelle is pointlessly frilly.

lobsteroll · 22/09/2021 15:09

I think Annabelle is a gorgeous name. Classic, elegant, pretty, and strong at the same time.

Much prefer that spelling to Annabel, which just looks unfinished to me.
