I love Jack ❤️
The others are okay IMO but not keen on Myles

brightwave · 18/09/2021 13:38

George & Charles are lovely

BikeRunSki · 18/09/2021 13:39

Myles is the most distinctive, although I’d spell it Miles.

Hlc98 · 18/09/2021 13:40

I love the name Myles but I think I’d also spell it Miles x

fuzzymoomin · 18/09/2021 13:40

I love Ethan. Not really a fan of Myles. The other three are ok.

Maui69 · 18/09/2021 13:42

George and Charles are lovely. Don't like the others.

RavenclawsRoar · 18/09/2021 13:42

Charles/Charlie is my fave x

JasonMomoasgirlfriend · 18/09/2021 14:21

I love Jack

WoozySnoozy · 18/09/2021 14:32

Don't get the MIL involved if she'll be funny if you don't choose her fave.

Ethan or Miles

DramaAlpaca · 18/09/2021 14:33

All good, apart from Ethan.

IAmSantaOhYesIAm · 18/09/2021 14:38

Love Ethan the best out of your choices.
Do you have a middle name planned? Does it ‘go’ with your surname?
Ethan George or Ethan Jack

MirandaBlu · 18/09/2021 14:41

Purely subjective opinion:

I like Charles and Miles (I would use that spelling, unless Myles is a family name).

Also quite like Ethan but I think it’s one of those names that became popular very quickly in English-speaking countries so it may seem tied to a specific time or age.

Nothing wrong with George, either - it's a solid classic, just not my personal taste.

Not a fan of Jack, except maybe as a shortname for John, Jonathan, Jackson, etc. It just somehow feels too informal/limited/nickname-ish, although I know it's popular as a stand-alone name.

KirstenBlest · 18/09/2021 14:52

Jack - ok but I know lots of them
George - ok
Charles/nn Charlie - love it
Ethan - not keen
Myles - don't like this spelling, but Miles is ok

The only one I'd consider using is Charlie

Rubyrebel · 18/09/2021 14:55

Lots of different opinions ! Middle name will be Stephen x

Nice list!
Jack is my favourite.
Congratulations :)

BeKindBeYou · 18/09/2021 18:47

Definitely Miles for me! I love it!!!

Stevearnottsbeard · 18/09/2021 18:52

I don't think ethan Stephen works, the ending is to samey. Jack Stephen or Miles Stephen sound good

Hollywolly1 · 18/09/2021 18:57

I think Mossy is a fabulous boys name

whatausername · 18/09/2021 18:58

Ethan is awkward with Stephen to the point I'd discount it. Myles Stephen Dyson and Charles Stephen Dyson are a little S-heavy. Fine when said w/o the mn however and mn are rarely used so perhaps not an issue. Charlie/Charles is nice. Jack sounds tired to me. George is popular but not overused like Jack.

lannistunut · 18/09/2021 19:00

Miles is nice.

Ethan is nice but not with Stephan (too rhyme-y).

Jack lovely but very popular.

Charles and George too royal.

Famousfrays · 18/09/2021 19:01

I like Jack
