Old/ unusual Irish boys names

We are Irish living in Ireland and considering an Irish name.
Not one of the "common" names like Cian, Sean, Liam, Cillian, Peadar, Micheal , Fiachra, Conn, Fionn, Oisin, Naoise etc

Not one of the ones that have become popular recently as family/ friends have got there first!
Eg Odhran, Rian, Tiernan, Tadhg

We are thus leaning towards an unusual/ old name that is not commonly used. I will get a book but as the weekend is coming up I'd love to have a few suggestions

My dad used to read to us from Peader O' Laoighre's Sceal Séadna. I always liked the name.

oh, how about Dualta? I had such a crush on Walter Macken's Dualta

I'm swooning at some of the beautiful names here. I like Cormac and Conan but I think the most striking Irish name I've ever comes across is Solamh (prom. Solav). It's an Irish version of Solomon, it's dreamy :)

Jarlath and Lorcan, as mentioned, are great names.
Naoise is my favourite. I also like Ainle and Ardan (his brothers in the story).

Aloysius, Ambrose, Alphonsus, Eustatius, Eugene to add to Cornelius and Jeremiah - I am sure that these fabulous traditional old Latin names popular in 1920s/1930s Ireland are due a revival

We have a Euan and he has a cousin Oran

Oh I love Cuan. Good shout @powershowerforanhour. It means ‘harbour’ so I think it’s a beautiful name for a man. There was an Irish radio presenter many years ago called Cuan Hanley but I don’t know anyone now called it.
