Initials PCR

We are fairly set on Penelope and we really like Clementine for a middle name. Only trouble is our last name starts with R. Would this be a bit too much of a covid themed name?

No

No. Someone might notice the connection, but it's not like STD or something.

Who uses their initials. I had to think about what mine are!

PCR is a standard (and very useful) biochemistry process long predating Covid. I wouldn't worry about it!

I actually thought you were wondering about getting a baby a Covid test so yes, for me the initials PCR make me think of Covid. But I’ve had to do a lot of PCR tests so could just be me

No I wouldn’t even think of it… but on another note Penelope Clementine is as bit of mountfull. Way too long middle name. Something short goes much netter with Penelope (which is a gorgeous name btw)

Ha, I’d probably notice it when you announce the name but then never think about it again.
People often use their initials for emails and signatures starting when they are in high school I guess but by then I think it’ll be fine. It’ll still be a term in use in medicine / biology but I’m sure most of our initials have some obscure use. It’s fine.
