Baby boy name

Really struggling with choosing the name for the boy and due soon.
Cannot decide between Matthew, Victor and Nicholas. The middle name will be Paul. My partner decided on Matthew, but I am afraid Matthew is too common?

I like Victor.

Matthew is ok but I dislike Matt.

Victor is one of those names I used to think was very fuddy duddy but has now grown on me. So I vote Victor or Nicholas.

Matthew is okay but a bit boring.

Dislike Victor but really like Matthew and Nicholas. I suppose it depends on whether you prefer Matt, Vic or Nick.

100% Nicholas.

Yes Matthew is a bit dull, Matt is terrible. Victor sounds harsh, it’s not a warm name. Nicholas is fine but will become Nick which I don’t really like.

Joseph is a nice traditional name that isn’t too popular at the moment.

Nicholas out of your choices.
Nick is a cool nn for a teenager and adult.
Matthew is ok and I don’t think too popular - it’s a classic.

Matthew is the most common of the three but at 99th position in the charts, not at all common.

By far, I like Nicholas.

I’m not keen on the thew sound in Matthew and Victor is very harsh sounding.

I love Matthew/Matt. Was going to be my DS name but my husband vetoed. So it will be a middle name:) don’t think it’s boring at all, it’s lovely and classic name

Matthew Paul is a beautiful combination in my opinion

Another vote for Nicholas -- and i think it's the one that goes best with Paul too.
