2. town in Essex- and not somewhere I'd want to name a child after - it's not the nicest of places.

1) Pretty awful. 2) Not a name I’d use but fine.

Both of them are awful.

Halo is fine but spell it right! Harlow reminds me of those horrific experiments on monkeys!

What about Hero?

I like Harlow.
I also like Harper and Hero.
I don't like Haylo at all, but Hailey I do like.
There's also Hallie/Halle or .Holly

Awful, sorry. The first looks made up and the second is a town in Essex. Hazel? Eden? Aria? Cleo?

Neither sound good to my ears....

How about Harper, Hayley, Heidi?

I prefer Harlow of the two, but Haylo could be a nickname for Hailey/Hayley, or you could go for something like Hadley
