It's become very popular very quickly. I know of 4 baby Margots born in the last couple of years. It's nice enough just maybe a bit too faddy.

I know a Margaux, to be honest I prefer that spelling . It's a lovely name

It very trendy now, and doesn't have a especially nice sound imo, sorry. I actually prefer traditional if dated Margaret - at least then she has a choice of nn's (Maggie, Mae, Greta, Meg, Daisy, Margot...).

Pronounced like Fargo? Or like Marmot?

I dislike it intensely, to me it's a very ugly name.

Love this name but it has become extremely popular - I know about five babies / toddlers with this name, including a couple with the spelling Margaux which is incomprehensibly naff

I like it. I would spell it like Margot, not Margaux, but I think it’s a nice solid name.

I prefer Margo without the T. Either way it's a nice name.
