So I know what I'm letting myself in for, but wanted to get some honest feedback on names for an arrival in a few days... (fingers crossed)...

What do people think of these names?
Vesper
Zephyr
Asterin
Martha
Alba
Frieda
Elowen
Ailith

PS Vesper is first choice right now

Vesper - I really like this and wouldn’t think twice if a friend named her baby this

Zephyr (Zephie/ Zeph) - too many “a little wind” jokes. Zephy/Zeffy/Zeffi could be a stand-alone name, sounds like a diminutive of Josephine.

Frieda - I find it a bit boring I’m afraid but it’s fine

Ottoline / Ottiline/ Ottilie - one of those names that sounds fine in theory but can’t imagine actually using it, only ever heard it on MN, really good name for an otter though

Olwen - love this, know a Breton Olwen

Elowen - is it “eLOWun”? I think I like it

Morgan - I only know boy Morgans, I know a couple of Morganas but you do always want to say “le Faye” afterwards, so I wouldn’t.

How about Zennor? Lovely village and becoming quite a popular name in Cornwall. Also popular: Enys, Lamorna, Sennen

(not Grumbla, Green Bottom or Broadwoodwidger for some reason)
