I'd avoid Rufus for that reason unless that's the appeal.

They were also pubs in Glasgow iirc.

Bertie is nice (so is Rufus if the connection doesn't bother you).

Once they're past being little kids they won't be said together very often! They don't need to match.

Both are fab! (I have one of them!)

Milo, it has to be Otis and Milo which has the cute factor as well.

Out of your two I would pick rufus. I like both but bertie is too much of a nn for me (that doesn't normally bother me)
