Dp absolutely loves it, but I'm not convinced. It's to go with the last name Massot. Any opinion (good or bad) is welcome

Great name. I know a Silas who is late teens now, he's a great young man.

I would hesitate slightly because there might be too many esses there, but I think I could get over that.

Love it.

First time I heard it was a character in Da Vinci Code.

I know one, 12 or so. He’s absolutely lovely so I have positive associations to the name.

Too many sss’s — sounds like a slithering snake. In fact Silas has always reminded me of a sly snake sloughing it’s skin.
Simon, Simeon or Sebastian are better options

I like the name Silas but that's far too many S's with your surname.

Reminds me of Silas Blisset in hollyoaks.. He was a serial killer. Not a fan. But your choice.
