What do you think of the name Ria Alanna King?

I love the name Ria I like short simple names for a girl. Alanna is also my favourite name, King will be the surname. I'm trying to think of more middle names that fit.

Ria King is too close to ‘reeking’ for me, especially if her friends call her ‘Ree’.

Alanna King is much nicer than Ria King- I agree with previous posters that it sounds like reeking, which obviously isn’t great!

She will get bullied at school for that name- ‘reeking’ was the first thing that sprung to mind for me too before I’d even read the comments.

I do agree with the other posts about the Reeking issue. Not to say the whole name sounds bad but maybe I would swap Ria to Alanna instead or of you really like Ria why not Maria instead? It sounds similar but at least you don't have the Reeking issue then and your daughter will appreciate her name as she gets older. Best of luck to you.

I second all PPs who flag "reeking". Just yuck.

If you like short names or nicknames, Al is a classic.

I would worry it sounds like King of the rears as in what a lovely bum she's got etc.
Also Ria makes me think of diarrhea.
