Im changing my name from Daphne Dahlia lastname and i want start by seeing if any names with links to my birthname sounds right for me because its a nice name.

To be honest, any suggestions of classic or traditional names like Daphne are safe bets and id love to see suggestions of them (or middle names like Dahlia was) Thanks

Just checking, this is for you, not a baby. You want a masculine version of Daphne?

Daphne comes from Greek mythology, are there any other Greek names you like? Also, like Dahlia it’s a flower name, but there aren’t many male names that are flowers, but could you go with a tree like Ash, Rowen….

As for names that sound like it what about David, Daryl, Daniel, Damian?

My Greek friend knows a man called Daphnis but I don't think it's very trendy in Greece!

A bit off the wall, and I hope not offensive, but... Gerry (Gerald)? The character of Gerald disguises himself as Daphne in Some Like it Hot and I think it's a fab film!

Hey everyone ! Just had a couple questions questions put out there today. 1 is about cramps.. I'm nearly 5 weeks and throughout each day I get these little pin prick cramps and some cramps similar to period cramps. Just wondering if anyone else experiences these and maybe how long the experiences have been ? Questions 2- Are there any extra vitamins I should be taking other than folic acid ? Thank you ! 💕💕💕

Oh shoot I just realised I commented on someone else's post... 😆 Daphne is cute ! 💕

Daphne means bay tree or laurel tree.

What about Bay or Laurel to keep the link to the name's meaning?

What about Lawrence? It's derived from Daphne

EastWestWhosBest · 12/08/2021 18:49

Oh Lawrence is a lovely name.

I love the idea of linking to the Some Like It Hot character!
