Violet
Daisy
Ivy
Sofia

All nice choices though. Violet has more attitude!

luciasanta · 12/08/2021 16:33

My favourites are Sophia and Ivy. Violet is lovely too. Daisy always sounds a bit too infantile/twee to me. Lovely choices OP!

All nice but would be worried about possible nickname of " poison" for Ivy.

toastofthetown · 12/08/2021 16:58

They are all so popular that it doesn’t really make a difference. Why not wait and see if one feels right when she’s born?

EmbarrassingMama · 12/08/2021 17:06

I like Daisy but my 30-something friend is named Daisy and she really hates it.

Roselilly36 · 12/08/2021 17:09

Ivy is gorgeous, I like Sophie very much too, violet is very popular now and Daisy for is a pets name for me. See what your lovely baby girl looks like when she arrives. Good luck OP.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 12/08/2021 22:07

For me it would be Sophia of the 4, no contest. Yes it's unfortunately currently very popular but it's elegant, classical, international and has a lovely meaning as a bonus.

Ivy and Violet are too retro/vintage trendy for me - I think they may date more and I find Daisy quite cutesy as a given name, sorry. Have you considered Viola instead of Violet? - more international, classical (Shakespearean) and less likely to date imo.

I really like Ivy and Sophia/Sofia (bothered spellings) so would put them at joint first, second Violet and third Daisy.

I just can’t imagine the name Daisy fitting all personality types when the child is older.

resm · 12/08/2021 22:17

*both spellings

Katefoster · 13/08/2021 07:21

Violet
Ivy
Sophia
Daisy

Starting from best to worst.

Violet is a stunner, feisty and sweet! Conversely, I don’t recommend Viola since it means “rape” in Spanish.

Then, much lower on my rankings:

Sophia - much prefer Sophie
Daisy - twee
Ivy - sounds scratchy

Mommabear20 · 17/08/2021 20:48

Violet
Sophia
Ivy
Daisy

seekingsolace1 · 17/08/2021 20:50

Ivy
Sophia

J3110 · 17/08/2021 21:15

mine, my daughters and my nans middle name is Sophia so love that. Also love Ivy and Daisy.

Could have:
Ivy Sophia (last name)
Sophia Ivy (last name)
Daisy Sophia (last name)

I think those combinations all go well together. I'm not a fan of violet personally x
