Too much?

Hi,

I love the name Harry (not keen on Harrison so that’s not an option) but his surname will be Rowles (pronounced rolls). Is Harry Rowles too much of a mouthful?

@MrsFin I just don’t know if it has too many ‘r’ sounds in it close together 🤦‍♀️

It sounds fine in my accent (Irish).
You could do Harvey or Harold if you wanted a longer name that separates out the 'r's.

I think it works. I don't love Harrison either but I do like Haris. Perhaps that is an alternative if you want to break up the r's

Some people struggle with their Rs. In that case it might be difficult to pronounce

My name also has that “ra rah” sequence and it is hard to say and annoying.

Although Harry has a Y rather than ah at the end so actually it is easier to say
